FAQ

How do you measure the width of teeth?

The width required is in MM, measuring across the complete width of teeth when zip is closed

How do you measure the Length of the Zip?

Please refer to our zip measurement guide. The length required is in Centimetres (CM). Length A only is required.measuring the function of the zip end to end not the tape.

What is the difference between the various zipper functions?

One way closed end

Fixed at the bottom end with a bottom stopper so the zip does not completely separate like on a trouser fly or pocket etc.

One way open end

A box and insert pin at the bottom end allowing zip to completely separate like on the front of a jacket etc.

Two way open end

One slider on the top and one slider on the bottom and the zip can completely separate like on the front of a long coat etc.

Two way closed end O-type head to head

Fixed at both ends with bottom stoppers each end and the two sliders meet in the middle and zip is closed like on a bag or a suitcase

Two way closed end X-type bottom to bottom

One slider on the top and one slider on the bottom and the zip is closed, zip cannot completely separate like on workwear or an overall

Lead Times

All zips are bespoke – made to your exact specification in any quantity that you require. There are so many variations, combination possibilities a customer can order on our site. You must allow for lead times as stated. The zipper will all have to go through production process to give you the exact zipper that you require.
